Everyone should have a signature look whether it’s a certain way you style your hair or a classic red lip as your go-to night out. It is important to have something only you do to distinguish yourself and your personal style. My main signature look is my eyebrows. Having a strong brow game is essential.
Women are obsessed with their eyebrows. That is a fact. However, THICK brows are back and all the rage. If you don’t have good eyebrows, that is a serious issue and if you are reading this I hope you take away some valuable information on how to get them! It is funny because when you look at someone’s face we do not usually focus on the eyebrows. We do not realize their importance and take them for granted. If people did not have eyebrows we would look like this, trust me, SCARY I KNOW.
Brows can change someone’s entire face. It is a strange thing that two patches of hair above your eyes can determine what you look like and determine your facial expressions. My inspiration who has “to die for” brows is British model Cara Delevingne. Celebs like Sophia Vergara, Keira Knightley, and Lily Collins also rock the bold look.
To fill, spruce up, and create amazing eyebrows I use TooFaced Brow Envy and e.l.f. eyebrow kit. TooFaced Brow Envy retails at $39 and contains a light and dark powder, conditioning wax, highlighter, tweezers, and brushes. It also comes with stencils which I do not use, but it is fabulous and has everything you could ever need. If you want a makeup dupe, I suggest the e.l.f. eyebrow kit. I found it while browsing at Target. It is more of a cream but works just as well and is only $3. Another great collection to try is Anastasia Beverly Hills and Benefit’s Gimme Brow which is more of brow gel for fast on the go-ers.
Filling in sparse areas of your brows really do make a difference. You want a natural shape with a slight arch. Full, bold brows give your face personality and pull in your whole look. When applying you do not want it to look fake but blended in with your natural line to get a subtle fullness. Below I used the TooFaced Brow Envy. Life is too short for bad brows ! 🙂
